I'm the only son of my parents, two great people who have raised me well. I was born in Ottapalam, Palakkad, where my mother's family is from, and raised in Cochin, where my parents settled down after their marriage, in the early '80s. I did my school and college in Cochin, and I have a strong connection to the city which has given me a lot of great memories....
I'm currently heading the Marketing function of a growing Product company called Option 3, and I recently finished a great stint at a US based MNC in May. I never wanted to build a career in an engineering discipline, which is why I actively and aggressively pursued my career in Marketing, building on my strong creative, communicative and people oriented skills. I'm currently pursuing certifications for knowledge and professional growth at the moment along with work. I plan to pursue an executive MBA within a few years, leveraging my managerial experience. Professionally, I'm self-driven, motivated, ambitious, and passionate about what I do
Outside of work, I'm a person of many interests. I like football very much, and I try to play whenever I can. I have a long and strong association with the game, having played in school, district, college, University and corporate tournaments, and I follow Manchester United religiously. Travelling to new places, experiencing new moments and meeting people, reading new books, watching good movies, experimenting with cooking, exploring joints for good food, helping people in their lives in whichever manner I can afford to, these are a few other things which keeps me happy. I like to write, but I'm extremely lazy about it as it involves a lot of effort, so I keep the pot boiling. Now I write (sparsely) whenever I am in the mood for it, and publishing a few books is something I wish to do later in life. Reading from a very young age has helped shape my thoughts, and it has helped me keep an open mind and be receptive and accommodative to new thoughts, ideas and people. I also have an amateur interest in history and historical revisionism. I believe I get a lot of qualities from both my parents, like their ever positive and cheerful attitude towards life, grounded and balanced disposition, and a caring and gentle nature. I have a laid-back, relaxed nature to my personality as well, which helps me keep my cool and not get flustered when faced with difficult situations. I believe life is great when it is simple and uncomplicated, and to be enjoyed best on idyllic rainy days!.....
Regarding marriage, I never had given it much thought, as I believe if you find someone you think is worth living for, then you give it all you've got. I don't have any preconceived notions about marriage and my only reference would be that of my parents', and if I could have half of what they do in theirs, then I'd count mine as a successful one.
I hope you've had a good read, and if you would like to know more, then we should definitely connect.
Cheers and regards.
